Once upon time, Bali was a part of Sunda Kecil Province where Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) and Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) included. Then in 1958, Bali has been standing as a province and leaded firstly by a governor (Anak Agung Bagus Suteja).
Formally Bali province government were built in August 14th 1958 and the capital city in Buleleng regency that is Singaraja city. But in 1960, the capital city were relocated to Denpasar (in the middle of Badung regency) Development in Bali, especially in tourism sector were already known by foreign countries since 1920. Because of many world famous artisans introduced Bali as An Art Place, like Walter Spies (Germany artist), Rudolf Bonnet (Dutch artist) and soon.
