Information

Can you provide samples?

Yes, we are happy to supply samples at a cost of 200% of value.  Freight costs will be at your expense.  We can use your shipper, or alternatively our preferred shipper.  If you subsequently place an order for the sampled goods we will credit you with 50% of the sample value.   

I want to buy something, what do I do?

Firstly send us an email on what you want to buy and the quantity, colour, drawing, specification etc, whatever you have.  We will respond to you within 48 hours with a quotation and advise options for shipping.  If you wish to go ahead you can send a payment of 50% of the total value of the goods and place your official order with us.  We will contact you through the production period with progress reports and advise when the goods have been through quality control and are ready for shipping.  At this stage you will be required to TT the final 50% payment to our account.  When this is received we will despatch your goods according to prearranged instructions.

What currency do you use?

Bali Export Import - trades in US Dollars. We will advise if there are any foreign exchange discrepancies that are required to be paid. 

How long does it take to get a sample made?

This will depend upon the item you have requested and the information supplied.  If you provide sufficient information and pay the required deposit a sample can usually be ready within 7 working days.

How long does it take for production runs?

This will depending on the item and the quantity ordered, production can take from 2 - 8 weeks.  For extremly large orders it will take more time.  At the time of quotation we can give you more accurate information for your particular items.

Who takes care of Freight and Insurance?

Staff at Bali Export Import have been exporting freight for many years, it is one of our strengths.  We would offer using our preferred freight forwader, giving us more control in handling your shipment.  We will however do as you instruct us to do at your own risk.

There are two shipping methods, airfreight or sea freight.  The cost and transit time depends on how the goods are shipped, the quantity/volume of goods and, of course, the country of destination.  Air-freight is the fastest method and can take up to a week whereas a container can typically be anywhere in the world in less than 8 weeks.  

We will be able to provide more precise information upon receipt of your order detailing specific products purchased.  

We do recommend insurance.

 

Do you provide warranty on your products? 

At Bali Export Import we believe in quality.  We source product & suppliers, liaise, place orders, schedule payments, monitor & report on production, collect, inspect to ensure compliance with quality standards, label, pack and prepare goods for shipping.  Our Quality Control procedure includes reporting on the quality of goods.  In incidences of less than expected quality we will report to you, together with our recommendation, so that you can advise futher action.  In cases of urgency Bali Export Import will decide the course of action.  Bali Export Import cannot be held responsible for manufacturing flaws, errors in colouration, size variations or production errors.  It is our job to make sure that quality products are delivered safely to you.  We offer a full replacement warranty on goods.  Claims must be subitted to us within 7 days of the arrival of your shipment and proof of damage must also be provided (photographic or other).  It is in our best interest to have happy customers.

What is in it for you? 

We mark up prices approximately 15% to cover our costs.  There is no minimum value order, but for orders less than USD 5000 (excl freight) we charge an additional handling fee of USD100.  We believe that we offer the best price for the product and the quality you are buying.  We enjoy the challenge and the satisfation of new things, new people, new ideas, new products and being part of such a creative network.
